Receptions and Events
Hanalei Colony’s Makana Room is exclusively available as a special event facility. The 3,000 square foot facility can hold up to 100 people for a sit down dinner. Rates for the Makana Room start at $3,100.00.
For smaller parties up to 40 people, ask about our semi-private banquet area in the Makana Room. Inquire with the Coordinator on site fees for this venue.
Our open-air pool pavilion is perfect for small informal dinners, BBQs & luaus for up to 40 people. Rates start at $2,250.00.
Wedding Reservations & Payment Policy
A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 will be charged by HCR at the time of a confirmed wedding booking. This deposit will be applied to the final balance of wedding costs, which is due thirty days prior to the wedding date. If lodging at HCR is being reserved, a 2-night deposit of the condo rate is also required to confirm accommodations. If a venue for your reception is to be reserved, a non-refundable 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. Wedding Ceremony Cancellation Policy
If cancellation of the wedding ceremony occurs thirty days or more prior to the wedding date, all fees will be refunded to the client less the $500.00 non-refundable deposit. If cancellation occurs less than thirty days prior to confirmed date, up to 50% of fees paid will be non-refundable. If cancellation occurs 7 days or less prior to date, no refunds will be extended.
